As if living in a permanent state of uncertainty in a national pandemic wasn’t emotionally taxing enough, now you have to carry the extra burden of being a privileged racist; but only if you’re white. Her proclamation is the end result of “anti-racist” teaching.
During the Wednesday July 22, public hearing on the 287(g) audit, District 4 Councilman and Oakdale Elementary School music teacher, Jessica Fitzwater (D) proclaimed she was a racist. She didn’t stop there. She then went on to say every white person in a position of power is a racist.
If you’ve been paying the slightest bit of attention you may have noticed a resurgence in Marxism by way of the Democrat Party. Except, instead of pitting neighbor against neighbor using “class” as the wedge, the Democrat Party is using “race.”
The resurgence isn’t an accident or coincidence. I think most of us agree it has been taught on college campuses for years. Where many of us don’t agree, is with it being taught in our local elementary, middle and high schools.
A quick glance on social media and we see young Marxist “Cancel Culture” warriors are hell-bent on the destruction of American culture, laws, and history. How did they get this way?
It’s not that Michelle Obama didn’t forewarn us in 2008 when she said “Barack knows we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversations; we’re going to have to change our traditions, our history; we’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation.”
She also told us in 2011 “That’s why we start with kids, right? We can affect who they will be forever.” [Emphasis added]
While socialist/progressive/Democrats were successfully neutering individual thinkers in universities and drawing up Blue Prints for K-12 education reform, Republicans were cowering in a corner hoping it would all go away. Republicans have always clung to the notion that young people would one day enter the real world and be smacked in the face by reality.
It was a mistake to think that way.
We should have taken Florida Congressman Albert S. Herlong, Jr. (D) seriously when on January 10, 1963, he caused to be read into the Congressional Record a list of 45 Communist Goals for America. The list was compiled by Cleon Skousen a former FBI agent and put into his book The Naked Communist as a warning to Americans.
A few of those goals:
#17 – Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
#19 – Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations that are under Communist attack.
#20 – Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, and policy-making positions.
#21 – Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.
#22 – Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. (An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings,” substituting shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.)
#23 – Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
#25 – Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
#31 – Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of “the big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
In Part II I’ll show you how those goals are implemented in Frederick County Public Schools.

[…] In case you are unfamiliar with what critical race theory is, it teaches all whites are born racist and must actively atone for the sins of their whiteness. This begins with public apologies and promises to atone for that whiteness. If you think I’m being hyperbolic you didn’t hear FCPS music teacher and county councilman Jessica Fitzwater do that very thing during a public meeting. The video is here. […]
