Superintendent of Frederick County Public Schools, Dr. Teresa Alban has informed The Tentacle that FCPS’s Pandemic Plan for the Coronavirus was reviewed by Frederick County Health Officer Dr. Barbara Brookmyer. Dr. Alban received the Plan this afternoon for her review.
Monday, March 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Alban will join County Executive Jan Gardner as well as other local organizations for an informal briefing. Dr. Alban will share the highlights of the plan at that time.
FCPS will continue to update the community through their webpage, Find Out First and other social media.

UPDATE: The briefing will be held at Winchester Hall so it should be aired on channel 19.
UPDATE: County Executive Gardner confirms the briefing will be at 1:00 a.m. at Winchester hall and will be aired on local channel 19 and live streamed on the county webpage here. There will be several other community agencies speaking but those are unconfirmed at this time.
