   Rixey Browning

Born and raised in Frederick, Rixey is currently pursuing a degree in anthropology with a concentration in Latin American and Iberian studies. Although she has been writing her whole life, journalism is a new found interest for her. Daughter, sister, friend, student, and EMT, Rixey is a graduate of The Banner School and Urbana High’s International Baccalaureate program. She hopes to combine journalism with humanitarian aid work abroad in the future.
